By facing Chelsea and Manchester City in the men’s and women’s finals respectively, United are the only club still competing for both trophies, and we can hope to achieve a historic double for the first time, across the two matches.
It will be the 11th time that a club has been represented in both of the finals, with Chelsea achieving the feat most recently in each of the last two campaigns.
After Ten Hag’s side lifted the Carabao Cup at Wembley in February, and following on from Sunday’s last-four success over Brighton, United are also set to be the club to have played the most matches at the 100-year-old venue in 2022/23.
The two finals will take our tally to four outings under the arch in this campaign, with City currently poised to end the term as next best on two.
